Preseason Player of the Year honors were awarded to Lake Erie
College junior forward Angela Bethel (Beavercreek, OH/Miami Valley School).
Bethel was the
conference's leading scorer last season with 30 goals, 9 assists, and 69 points,
and was ranked
#4 nationally in goals per game and points per game. Her honors included
being named to the AMCC all-conference first, D3Kicks.com Great Lakes Region
first team, and CoSIDA/ESPN Magazine All-District second team.
Bethel also earned recognition as a member of the All-Ohio academic
first team. |
